MerchPix ("MerchPix", "we", "us", or "our") provides AI product photography and related ecommerce tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices available to you when you use our website, account, payment, image-processing, and newsletter services.
By using MerchPix, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy. This policy does not apply to third-party websites or services that have their own privacy policies.
When you register, sign in, contact support, or subscribe to updates, we may collect your name, email address, language preference, account identifiers, and the content of your messages. We use this information to authenticate you, provide support, send service messages, and manage your account.
When you upload a product image or other reference content, we process it to provide the AI workflow you request, such as product photography, virtual try-on, ghost mannequin, background removal, or related features. Depending on the workflow and configuration, submitted files may be transmitted to our hosting, storage, and AI-processing providers. Do not upload content that you are not authorized to use or that contains sensitive personal information unless the feature requires it and you have an appropriate legal basis.
We may collect technical and usage information such as IP address, browser and operating-system type, device type, referring URL, pages or features viewed, timestamps, and basic error or performance data. We use this information to secure, operate, debug, and improve MerchPix.
Payments are handled by the payment provider selected for the deployment, which may include Stripe, Creem, or Waffo. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number. We receive limited transaction information, such as the provider customer or payment identifier, plan, amount, currency, status, and date, so that we can grant credits, manage subscriptions, provide billing support, and process refunds.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and subscription status. Newsletter delivery may be provided by Resend or another configured email provider. You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email or by contacting us.
MerchPix uses essential cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session security, language preferences, and core functionality. Depending on the deployment configuration, we may also use analytics or product-insight providers such as Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics, PostHog, Plausible, Umami, Clarity, Ahrefs, Seline, or DataFast. These tools may receive pseudonymous usage or device data when enabled. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of MerchPix from working.
